This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected by AutoFile AI ("we," "us," or "our") when you visit autofileai.com (the "Website") and use the AutoFile AI desktop application (the "Software").

1. The AutoFile AI Software (Zero Data Collection)

AutoFile AI is designed with privacy as its foundational feature.

• Local Processing: The Software processes all files, PDFs, and documents 100% locally on your computer's hardware.
• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload, transmit, monitor, or store any of your files or the text extracted from them. Your personal, legal, and financial data never leaves your hard drive.
• License Validation: To prevent piracy, the Software generates an anonymous hash of your computer's hardware ID. This hash is stored locally on your machine. The only time the Software communicates with the internet is to ping our licensing server (via LemonSqueezy) to validate your alphanumeric License Key.

2. Information We Collect on the Website

When you visit autofileai.com, we collect basic information to improve our marketing and website performance:

• Analytics & Advertising: We use third-party tracking tools (such as Google Ads) to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. This may involve the use of cookies or web beacons to track actions like page visits and purchase conversions.
• Purchase Information: All transactions are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, LemonSqueezy. When you make a purchase, LemonSqueezy collects your name, email address, and payment details. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your raw credit card data. We only retain your name, email, and purchase history to provide customer support and issue License Keys.

3. Sharing Your Information

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers (like LemonSqueezy for payment processing and Google for ad tracking) solely for the purpose of operating our business.
